Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SkillScales (the "Service"), operated by Te Fiti OÜ, registry code 16339918, registered at Roosi tn 2a, Nõmme linnaosa, Tallinn 11616, Estonia("SkillScales", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

SkillScales is a personal labour-market intelligence tool. It analyses information you provide about your career (CV text, LinkedIn extracts, preferences, free-text corrections) and shows: (a) an estimated market value range for your skill set, (b) possible role profiles, and (c) matches to publicly available job listings, together with AI-generated summaries, application materials, and recommendations.

SkillScales is not a recruiter, employer, job board, career counsellor, financial advisor or legal advisor. Outputs are estimates and suggestions — not guarantees of employment, salary, interview outcomes or income.

2. Eligibility & account

You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit and for keeping your credentials secure. You may not create accounts on behalf of another person without their explicit consent.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit information you do not have the right to share, including another person's CV or personal data.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
• Use the Service to build a competing product, dataset or model.
• Use outputs to discriminate against, harass or defame any person or organisation.
• Circumvent free-plan limits or usage metering.

4. Subscriptions, payments & refunds

Paid plans ("Pro") are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via our payment processor. Prices are shown at checkout and may include VAT. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing; access remains until the end of the current billing period.

EU right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the EU, you have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. By starting to use Pro features immediately after purchase you expressly consent to the Service being supplied during the withdrawal period and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the digital service has been fully performed. For clearly unused subscriptions we offer a pro-rata refund on request within 14 days of purchase.

5. AI outputs & accuracy

SkillScales uses AI models to produce estimates, verdicts, summaries, tailored CVs and cover letters. AI outputs can be incomplete, biased or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing and editing any material before you send it to a third party (e.g. a prospective employer). Salary and match figures are estimates based on available signals, not guarantees.

6. Third-party job listings

The Service surfaces job advertisements from third-party sources (e.g. CVKeskus, CV.ee). We do not control, endorse or process applications on your behalf. Application takes place on the source site under that site's terms.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and generated aggregate analytics, belongs to SkillScales. You retain ownership of the career information you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to process that information solely to operate and improve the Service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or applicable law. Sections 5, 7, 9 and 10 survive termination.

9. Disclaimer & liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkillScales disclaims all implied warranties. Our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost earnings, missed job opportunities, or indirect damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Harju County, Estonia, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence provide otherwise.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
