Cookie Policy

SkillScales uses a small number of cookies and similar browser-storage technologies to make the Service work. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell your browsing data.
1. Strictly necessary
- Authentication — a secure session token stored in local storage / cookies by our auth provider so you stay signed in. Without this the Service cannot function.
- Security — CSRF and abuse-prevention tokens set by the platform.
- Preferences — remembers UI choices such as collapsed sections and last-selected filters.
2. Payments
When you visit checkout or the billing portal, Stripe sets cookies on its own domain to process payment and prevent fraud. See Stripe's cookie policy.
3. Analytics
We currently do not use third-party marketing or advertising cookies. If we add privacy-respecting product analytics in the future, this page will be updated and (where required) we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies.
4. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly-necessary cookies above will prevent you from signing in to SkillScales.
